Marriage is a lot like Golf,
Once you go and get Teed Off . . .

Selecting a Wood for a Perfect Drive,
Reminds me of “The Days of our Lives” . . .

Now, it takes some Iron to reach the Green,
with just the right Stroke, if you know what I mean . . .

Then the moment of truth, comes down to a Putt,
that's when your partner says
“I Want To Split Up” . . .

So, if you end up getting divorced, that's just,\

The Back Nine start out tough,
Once you’ve put your ball in the Rough . . .

Time to get out your Chipping Wedge,
Honing on those Skills of a Wedding Pledge . . .

You know your Game is going to crap,
since you ended up in the Sand Trap . . .

Now your trying to Pitch it up into the Cup,
that's when your Partner says
”I Want To Split Up” ! ! !
